73 455

I have a 73 350 with 7a heads. The heads have had larger valves installed. Would the heads work on a 455? What intake manifold would I need to use? Would the existing headers still work?
Thanks!

The 350 heads will physically bolt to a 455. All the interfaces and bolt holes are the same. Unfortunately, the SBO ports are much smaller than those on a BBO, which will create a mismatch and flow disruption at the intake manifold to head interface. Why do you want to do this?

I found a good deal on a 73 455 short block. I have a 73 350 in my car now with 7A heads with w-31 sized valves. I was just wondering if using the 7a heads would be an inexpensive way to boost the 455 compression ratio. I have heard of people putting big block heads on their small blocks just wondered if it would work in reverse. I guess not... If I was smart I would stop looking thru craigs list and KIJIJI. They give me bad ideas.
