`71 Delta...350 To 455 Swap ???
#4
Like 70 cutlass says straight up swap. the only difference between the 455 and the 350 is the deck height of the block. Fights right in. Use motor mounts from the 350 and your set. The turbo 350 in its stock form is not up to the torque of the 455 and your need to either have it built up or change to a turbo 400. The are several past threads in this site that outline the swap Use the search function to find them.

X3 with the other guys, easy project to get more cubes/torque. If you change from a TH350 to a TH400 you'll need to shorten the driveline. A while back I dismantled a 1971 Delta 455/HT400 car and believe I still have the driveline if you need it. John

Actually, the full size cars used the same motor and frame mounts for all BBO and SBO. The different mounts problem only applies to the 69-72 A-body cars.
