65 A Heads

What is the difference between the 65 "A heads" stamped with a "V" code and the 65 "A heads" stamped with a "N" code ? All other numbers are the same.

Thanks!

I believe the V is for 442 engines
the N is for run of the mill Big Car engine.
I vaguely recall M vs N being high compression vs lower compression.

Chassis Service Manual section 0 should have all that info.

Later, we also have a T suffix for Toronado... if you find Toronado A heads, that would be quite a score, for the elusive 1965 Toronado!
