Your 65 400 will be a 45 degree cam and there are numerous cam grinders that can grind any option you want or need. Get a machine shop that is willing to do a little research.
Correct. The '66 and '67 400's had the 39° lifter bank angle, .921 lifter bore, and bigger valves in the "C" heads. The 400ci motors in the 442's changed again in '68. The '68 and '69 400ci's were made from the same raw block as 455's. These 400's had a smaller bore and longer stroke than the '66's and '67's to achieve the same displacement. They still had the 39° lifter bank angle, but went back to the smaller .842 lifter bore.
