1970 442 W30 pulley set up????

I have a 1970 442 w30 with A/C. I have the 404847 water pump with the X on it. I am having troubles lining up the pulleys. I also have the H and C shaped alternator bracket on. Confused as to which water pump pulley and crank pulley should be used. Cant get the 2 7/8 inch pulley to work and which pulley should be used for the power steering. Need help ASAP

Looking to buy all 3 pulleys if someone has the correct set.

Hi Chris
The other Chris (Octania) has built a spread sheet listing water pumps and matching sets of pulleys. Here's what I got from that spread sheet.

1970 W30 Non-AC
Crank Pulley KJ 405459 2 groove 6.25" X 2.18"
Water Pump Pulley KM 405461 2 groove 7.3" X 2.55"
Power Steering Pulley KG 399403 1 groove

Water Pump Length 5.6"

Shoot! I just realized you need with AC. Is the water pump 5.6" long? This might take a PM to Chris to see which ones he thinks would be correct. As I skim through his spreadsheet the AC sets look to me mostly other lengths of water pumps.

Here's one he lists with a question mark on the water pump length:

"68 Asm. Man.
6-1, 111"
1968 350 Yes (AC)
68+
Nutted"
Crank "KC 399405 3g - 7.5 x 3.0""" 1.230
Water Pump "KF 399404 3g 6.10 x 2.70"
Power steering "KH 399406 2g 6.6 x 1.95"
Water Pump Length 5.6" ?
"1100777 AJ"

"Aft groove: C-WP-PS-Gen belt #399627;
2nd groove: C-WP-PS belt #399595;
3rd groove: C-WP-AC belt #401473"

I have the 404847 (X) heavy duty water pump on the car. The water pump is 5 11/16 long. Hope this help with the information needed to tell me what I need. I guess the issue is with the length and the part number 404847 X heavy duty water pump on the car.

The answer is in the Product Information Manual (aka Assembly Manual). You DO have one, right?

W-30 has nothing to do with it. Any 1970 A-body with 455, A/C, and Power steering uses the 3-belt KC Crank pulley, 3-belt KF water pump pulley, and 2-belt KH power steering pulley.

Make sure you use the right spacers along with your brackets.

Washers

Can you tell me how thick or which washers to use on the brackets. Didn't think of that!
