1966 oldsmobile 98 convertible engine rebuild questions

1966 olds 98 that looks like it might have a 1965 425 (386525A) engine and trans (0B-65-93195) in it ir mebey just heads are 65
has AC/PW with auto 3 speed think its a 400 trans 0B-65-93195
heads have factory screw in studs and was told they are 65 model
engine has 3 cyl at 85% leak down with the rest at 45% so i pulled it for a rebuild
engine was not knocking just a little smoke and low on power
what is a good piston for a daily driver?

what model is a good street cam for a daily driver?
stock cam looks very worn and lifters are worn, some are stuck as well and cam looks like it does not line up possible thrust washer is worn

rebuilding heads as well and want to know if hardened seats can be installed
we have 87,89, and 93 octane with 10% ethanol here

is the stock intake good or should i go with an aftermarket?
stock is a 4bbl that i almost broke my back taking off no EGR or air pump

almost forgot it has single exhaust with cross over pipe want to install duels since exhaust is rusted as well as cross over pipe
looks like i would just need a passenger side exhaust manifold since it has 2 exhaust holes
would like to know what i can use don't really want to mess with headers if they even make them for it

love driving this car it was smooth after i fixed some minor issues want to get it back on the road before summer is over and enjoy it

thanks for any advise

For the exhaust you will want to change driver side manifold and plug crossover hole in pass. side. Replacement manifold is available from Thortons, but I found one from Amazon for much less.

It is the left side repro manifold you need for duals. The right side gets the crossover port plugged. The cheapest route is egge pistons. Someone else can sugges a cam. You may want to source rockers for those heads first as they may be very hard and expensive to get. You could get some 66 B letter heads and the rockers are easier to get. The stock 65 4bbl would be for a 4 jet. You may want a 66 up manifold that accepts the spreadbore carbs.
