Cylinder head removal

I haven't been here in a while but now I need some assistance.
I have a 70 442 with a 455 that I have to remove the heads and it has power brakes.
I can not get the last left push rod out because of the booster. Is there a secret way to remove the two lower bolts that hold the booster to the firewall? I can get the top but the lower ones are a pain.
Thanks,
Joe

When I replaced the booster on my 71, I used an open end wrench, reached behind the booster, and turned the nut about 1/8 turn at a time. I had to keep switching ends of the wrench as I turned the nut. It was a PITA to get the nuts off.

Use a ratchet wrench such as the ones shown in the link below...

Not sure because mine had tons of room for my skinny arms, what if you removed your wiper motor?

Don't take the buster off just leave the push rod in head with tape holding in in place and remove the head with push rod in head.

This is whtn I finally did, but I used a small spring clip to hold the push rod.

I do have a set of those ratchet wrenches but the left side is real tight.

Now that I have the heads off I am trying to decide whether to redo the iron heads or go aluminum.

I'm at a loss here. I replaced the head gaskets on my 70 455 Cutlass with power brakes right on the car and never had a problem with a push rod. What am I missing?
