I'm getting closer to installing my windshield…..anybody know what type of pleather/vinyl gets glued to the top of the windshield header? There was nothing left of mine yet I do have distant memories of it being black slightly textured on one of my old cars.
Anybody have a small amount they want to sell me?

I have a pair of the panels but they don't appear to have had anything on them, but are textured themselves. Are yours smooth or other?

 

I have the two metal covers that slide over the sun visor pivots (they have grain)…the material I'm talking about goes forward of these- the top most surface of the windshield surround.

It'll be a strip of that black vinyl that's like your seatcovers...the "smoother" of the two grains on there.

I sell those strips, in black and generously cut so you have plenty of room for error when gluing it in place.....
