motor mount issue

Anybody out there have a pic of the correct frame to motor mounts for a '68 442? I have a set sent to me by a guy who said they came off of a 1968 442 convertible and a set from olds parts. They couldn't be more different. I put the oem ones on with NAPA 602 1119 motor mounts to the block and they will not fit. This number is the same number listed on Fusicks site. Any help is appreciated.

1968 442s use the same frame pads and motor mounts for 350, 400, and 455. I'm sure you got the so-called "big block" mounts, which are NOT correct for 1968. Nearly every vendor gets this wrong. You want Anchor 2261 mounts (or dimensionally equivalent) if you have the original frame pads,

This is what the correct engine mounts look like.

I'm am impressed as usual by you guys. I was sold the two tab mounts by NAPA. Looked up the part you recommended Joe and as usual, you where right they look like different ones than I have. I Have the type two from your photos Joe. I also have the type ones from your photos that I bought from olds parts. I think I have a good part number for NAPA I'll see what I can do with that tomorrow. Thanks again

Also read joes advice about leaving them a bit loose for the install, my 455 went in like a dream, with no fussing no mussing LOL...
