I recently inquired about this 442 on ebay

...sounded good enough, numbers matching drivetrain, minimal rust, W25 hood etc...but then I asked if it was originally a black car. Seller didn't know how to check. ok, fine, just give me the PNT code from the bodytag and I'll decipher it.
Seller nonchalantly replies, the bodytag is gone!! 
Not that important anyway i guess...at least not important enough to mention in the decription... I realize the VIN tag can still denote a 442 but would anyone buy a 442 without a bodytag? Oh yeah, a $15K 442 I forgot to mention....with NO bodytag.!!! and no documentation or history of any kind...COME ON FOLKS!!!! The car in your driveway is NOT just like the car they just auctioned off on BJ!!
