LAN = assembly plant = Lansing MI

418690 BODY = body number (no relation to the VIN)

TR 450 = interior color and front seat type = ? I don't see a 450 code in my books. I suspect this is TR 950, in which case it would be black interior with a split bench front seat

T-2 PNT = lower body color (T) = ivory; and upper body color and type (2) = black vinyl top

VIN "3 36 87 8 M 415575" breaks down as follows:

3 = GM division = Oldsmobile

36 = model series = Cutlass V8

87 = body type = holiday coupe

8 = model year = 1968

415575 = assembly plant sequential number

I see that I forgot the "M" in the VIN. M = assembly plant = Lansing MI.
