8 track installation

I'm currently installing an 8 track housing into my 71 and was wondering if anybody has any tricks for tightening up the nots on the inside of the dash. I actually got a small socket on the driver side by reaching my are around the ac duct but having trouble on the passenger side trying to tighten the nut. I'm thinking of possibly bending a right angle to a box wrench. I am trying to avoid removing the glove box liner.

Thanks Dave

years ago I was given one of those 100 piece tool sets that sold for $19.95. included in that set was a set of "ignition wrenches." these gems were punched out of sheet metal. they were combination with a open end and and 12 pt box on the other about 4" long. I dug out the 1/2", bent the box end about 60 degrees and it worked like a charm on the right side

Thanks for the reply, I just got back from Lowes and picked up a 7/16" 90 degree swivel speed wrench that worked like a charm. Lowes sells the wrenches individually.

Thanks Dave

I am also instalking an 8 track. How do you get the 2 main bolts that are riveted on to the bracket to get thru the dash?
