'67 442 Exhaust Tips

I just had a spec 2-1/4" exhaust system done on my '67 and have been searching high and low for either 2-1/4" or 2'1/2" inlet slash-cut, rolled tip exhaust tips. Closest I found were 2-1/4" inlet, 3" outlet slash-cut rolled tips at Summit, but I'm afraid the outlet size will look goofy. Does anyone have a line on exhaust tips that might work? I know they're not reproduced, and at this point, I'm considering getting a set of Fusick '67 Toronado tips if I can't find anything else. Thanks in advance, and sorry for all the questions.

You can get repro exhaust system from Gardner, $$$$ or do as you are searching for an replicate. I found my angled tips on ebay. The smallest ones I could find were about 2.5-2 3/4 inch. I had to cut them off the pipes they came on and weld them on the correct size pipe and reduce it down the the 2 inch tailpipes. It doesnt look bad but took a lot of searching.

I considered Gardner but I really couldn't justify $2K plus installation costs for a driver, as my car is nice but not concourse-nice. I still plan to call him to see if he'll sell me a pair of tips, although I think I know that answer based on other posts.

Yours look fantastic and are exactly what I'm looking for to duplicate the OEM look, but I'll be damned if I can find anything close in searching the interweb and eBay specifically, but I'll keep looking. I have a '67 Toro and those tips would look ok but they're 2" inlet and won't work easily.
I have a set of 2-1/4" in/3" out rolled slash cut tips that may be too goofy big as I continue my search. Really appreciate the reply!

Just to close the thread, here’s the finished look using 2-1/4” in/3” out polished stainless tips from Summit Racing. I know the purists will yell at me but I’m pretty happy with the look.

I dig it. Did you move the hangers up on the frame? Mine is a little lower.

Yours is much more correct than mine - your tips are exactly what I was looking for but could never find. Beautiful car! And no, my VERY old school exhaust guy had all the OEM measurements (he called them "cards") for bends and hangers and hardware, so my rear hangers should be at their original spots/lengths. If they're not, I kind of like it where it is as I had the exhaust on for about 2 weeks before I found the tips, so he didn't need to move anything to accommodate the 3" outlet - just had to cut the tailpipes to the right length to get them aligned where I wanted them.

Thanks for the compliment. I really don't have much to go on, as I'm not familiar with the OCA judge's spec. I had this picture

I remember reading your post back when I was searching for the tips. I should have asked you how much to make me a set! LOL... Well done sir - they look great!
