67 Turnpike Cruiser Tailpipe Question

Having trouble finding info on the factory tailpipe style that the 67 Cutlass Supreme with TP option. I thought they used the 442 tipped tailpipes but some info I have read states the TP had resonators and quieter exhaust than the 442. Also the chambered 442 pipes seem like they would not be able to take a resonator if cut. Does anyone know? Was the factory exhaust just turned down tips? Thanks!

Not sure about the '67s, but all the '68 442s had resonators crimped into the tailpipes and they looked just like chambered pipes (the resonators just fit inside the pipes)...
