I run Vigo plates on my old ones as that is where my family is from, even though I'm in Vanderburgh now. 82 vs 84, no big deal. I do have some Vanderburgh 72s, though I plated my H/O with another one of my grandfather's plates so it could be 2 away from my Monte Carlo which has its original plate.

That decal is pure 60s craziness. Was this based off a paint job on a W-30 back then?

 

At the Motorama car shows etc. Oldsmobiles were lettered up like that. That is such an awesome deep Oldsmobile root move!! My hat is so off to you!!

 

Awesome Koda! My car is (was) an Ohio car. So I got some Ohio plates too... matched set 94421... like I wasn't buying those!

 

I thought one of the '69 W-car ads had a car lettered up like that, I looked but can't find the ad - was there one?
