stock wheel size

What would be the stock wheel size on a 64 Jetstar 88? when i got it it was on mismatched steelies. now i have 14x7 american racing Torque Thrust II on it. Well time and my lack of attention hurt them a bit and I was thinking of maybe going with a 15 inch wheel. I am looking for new tires and was also wonder what would be the largest width that would fit.

Thank you

Standard wheel for your car was 14 X 6, a 15 X 6 was also offered as an extra cost option but rarely order.

Another thing to remember is that the bolt pattern on your car is 5 x 4.75. This is the same as the Cutlass, F-85, 442. This allows you the opportunity to get some very nice Oldsmobile rally wheels if you wish.
The Jetstar I,Dynamic 88, Super 88, Starfire and 98 on the other hand used a different bolt pattern(5 x 5).

Love your car by the way. My father's 64 was the same colour.

Does that mean I can use cutlass/442/f85 disk brake conversions?

That I don't know but I'm pretty sure that someone reading this thread should know.
