How to get 15x10 wheels to fit the back on a 68 442?

I am wanting to put 15x10 wheels on the rear, what needs to be done to fit them? Wider wheel housing? Narrow frame slightly? Or a specific back spacing and offset?
Car is in pieces now, starting body restoration. Have another a body frame, due to frame rot. Now would be the time for modifications. Please provide pictures if possible.
Thank you all for your input.
BTR built 455 with Edelbrock heads, Freddy Brown built TH400, Pro torque converter, Brian Trick built 10 bolt 3.73.

I run 30x9 Hoosier slicks on my 66 with 8, 9, or 10" wheels. No issues if the wheels have the proper offset.

Thanks Joe for the reminder, the dimensions of the tires in my photos are 295/50/r15 with 5” of offset.

Funk, I believe you mean 5" backspace. Generally the flange width is about 1/2 inch so a 10" wheel is 11" wide and 5,5" BS would have the mounting surface centered in the wheel. I run 4.5" with my 10" wheel and a diff that is approximately the 64-5 width (60.2" drum to drum) vs. the wider 68-up.

Yes Joe, I’ve grown to be cautious about the terminology I use when describing parts on the forum and “backspace” seems to be a description that elicits a lot of comments. Therefore I am reluctant to use the term.☺️. In my instance, my 10” wheels have a measurement of 5” from the face of the axle flange to the edge (or face) of the inner wheel flange which would likely indicate about 4.75” of “backspace”when accounting for flange thickness. I hope that this provides clarification and does not disturb the rocket gestapo enough to merit crucification.🫣

I would like to have the the tire wheel combo to fit in the wheel housing, not sticking out of the quarter panel. I'm still slightly confused of which back spacing, 5 or 5.5? Plan on going with the poverty wheel look.

Wow can't believe the serendipity going on this morning. Just read the thread by German69 about his red flattop wagon and now this post and finding out about your black wagon Funk. Not wanting to hijack the post but had to comment.

FWIW you can fit a larger wheel/tire combo in a 70-72 wheel well than a 68-69. They are not the same

I have personally seen 295/50/15’s on the same 10” wheel on a friend’s four speed ‘68. The tires are inside the wheel well.

I have a pair of steel 15x10 with 5" BS if someone needs them. Marsh Racing made them for me in the 1980s iirc, with the light nickel alloy hoops and GM centers.

Just talked with a gal at CRAGAR Customer Service and she said they shut the Custom Shop down recently because they were having a hard time getting materials for standard production wheels. She said they are talking about opening the Custom Shop up next year when supplies hopefully get better! I'll still look for a set that I need and buy them if I can find them for a decent price. If not, I'll keep watching for them to open the Custom Shop back up. If you're looking for custom backspace CRAGARs from them, you might want to call and show your interest!

I called CRAGAR again the other day about the Custom Shop! First I had emailed them but rec'd no reply! When I called, I asked the nice young lady if they had a timeframe for re-opening the custom shop. She said no date has been set and seemed to indicate that it most likely would never open. Well, I guess I'm going to try to find a NOS or very nice used set of 10 X 15 CRAGAR SS for the back of my 442! I have a feeling that it's going to be a chore to find them.
