Help with tire size

I need to change my front tire size. i have 235/70r15 but I almost ripped my chrome trim.
I have 2 inch drop spindle and the mags are American Racing AR23 with -6mm offset

Its been 2 years since ordered my SSI and still waiting.

I tried 205/70r15 from a friend and it was a little bit too small
From the past post on the forum I am concedering 215/70r15 or the 245/60r15

Any suggestion?

Thanks

235/60 or 245/60 up front would be great options. What size tires do you have in the back? Generally want the rear tires to be the same size or larger.

I moved your post and responses, the data thread is for information on what has worked on member cars.

235/70-15 tires are just about 28" tall, about 1.5" larger in diameter than OEM. That's your first problem. The second is, what's the offset (not backspacing) on those wheels. It appears that they have negative offset, which pushes the tire towards the outside.
235/60-15 tires are exactly the same width (235mm section) and are just over 26" tall. Stock tires were about 26.5" in diameter.

These are -6mm offset
And this is why I look maybe for the 215/70r15 (26.9) because they are less wide but on the other tread with all the post they where talking about 235/60r15 or 245/60r15.
My question with those is since they are smaller 26.6 and 26.1 diameter will they still fit with the offset.

The 205/70r15 where looking too small and they are 26.3
Thanks

I think one reason they look too small is the car’s front ride height appears to be much higher than normal. Your first pic with the very tall 235-70s shows a huge gap above the tire to the fender lip. On my car with 245-60-15s the gap is much smaller.

Do you saw my first post because the other person also asked for the offset and it was in my first post.

Just to clarify for me, does your 245 stay in the inner wheel or does the tire is slightly above the chrome trims?
I try to know if I can put these even if I have -6mm offset.
Thanks
