Year One - 17" Magnum Wheels for a '66

Has anyone tried the Year One 17x8 (CMW178BLKS) or 17x9 (CMW179BLKS) Magnum wheels on a '66 442/Cutlass? I suspect the 8" is needed for the front and 9" for the back. Thanks for any input or alternate magnum wheel suggestions.

5.125 for the 9 in and 4.5 for the 8 in. Car will not be lowered and it has 4 wheel discs.

17"

I saw your thread and I am thinking about doint the 8" all around on my 69 did you do it yet, I noticed they are now selling the wheels as each instead of a set they were $800 a set now $229 per wheel . If you put a set on I would like to hear how they worked out and what size tires you went with.
Thanks

Year One 17" Magnum Wheels

I bought the wheels - 8" front and 9" rear - Year One split a set of 4 for no extra charge vs. 4 of the same size. I did a test fit of the rear wheel, but it is hard to judge tire size yet without any weight in the car (still a shell on a rolling frame). I want the tire large enough to nearly fill the wheel opening - it may require some reduction to the spring height. I'm open to suggestions for size.

Great prices on those wheels. Do they allow enough room for big rotors? 13" for example?
