widest wheel and what offset for 1968 cutlass

Hello Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knew firsthand what width wheel FOR 15" DIAMETER and offset to give a nice look that fits under the car?

I can tell you that 275-60-15's on the chrome repro 15x8 SSIII's will rub in the rear. In the front, if you have any plans to put an oversize sway bar on, then do not do anything bigger than 235-60-15 on a standard 15x7 wheel. You can get away with a 245-60-15 with a standard sway bar. I have 245-60-15's all the way around and the front rub the oversize sway bar at full lock.
