I have the front disc conversion kit for the 1969 442 from Right Stuff and I was wondering if the stock 14" SSII wheels will mount over the discs. Do I need a 15" wheel to accommodate?

Once again, ALL SSII/III wheels of any factory-available diameter or width will clear factory disk brakes. If your conversion kit uses repro stock spindles, caliper brackets, calipers, and rotors, yes the 14" will fit. My 70 W-30 came from the factory with disk brakes and 14" SSII wheels.

 

I thought there is a difference between 14" wheels on drum brake and disc brake cars

 

This topic has been covered many, many times, but to refresh our memories, in the early 1960s, GM used 14" wheels that were contoured on the backside to clear the 9.5" drum brakes. When disk brakes first appeared on the 1967 A-body cars, these wheels did not clear the calipers, requiring the development of new 14" wheels that were contoured to clear the disk brakes. This is why through the 1970 model year, you will find drum-only and disk-brake 14" wheels, including the early SSI wheels.

HOWEVER, as we've discussed previously, ALL SuperStock II/III wheels ever made by Oldmobile, including the 14x6 versions from the 1968-69 model years, are designed to clear the factory disk brakes, which is what the O.P. asked.

 

I think I confused SS wheels and steel wheels. Thanks for clarifying that.

This is why I'm always careful to add that the wheels clear factory (or exact copies of factory) disk brakes. Now, I just bought spindles, caliper brackets, and backing plates from Right Stuff at Carlisle for my 64. I'll be using parts-store rotors and calipers (though, apparently not Cardone calipers... )
