The Right Stuff brake booster advice

I'm installing an 11 inch Right Stuff booster on 72 Cutlass. If anyone has experience with this booster I would love some advise. I have two questions. I'll call the company tomorrow but hopefully someone here could help. My car is disc brake front, drum rear.

When installing, do you run the white plastic sleeve on the back of the booster from the interior through the firewall or do you mount the booster directly with the sleeve on it first and then tighten down? It appears to me to run it from the inside first, but the thing really doesn't want to fit. I've really tried to squeeze it through but with no luck. I don't want to mess the sleeve up.

Also, for some reason I looked in the center hole on the front of the booster. I notice there is another hole inside. On my booster the internal hole is a bit off enter. I'm guessing the end of the pin should slide in that hole but not with mine off center. Is mine defective?

Thanks

I have no knowledge of the Right Stuff booster but the factory one installs with the sleeve attached to the booster and is inserted through the firewall from the engine side.

Well, I worked it out. I'll explain what I did so others may apply the same info for their repairs if using parts from The Right Stuff.

I called them today and got some help. Figured out the rest myself. The hole deeper in the front of the booster does have to be centered. As I though the pin we slide in the front needs to enter that hole. I was told it was ok to stick a long Phillips screwdriver down in there and readjust the hole so it is centered. I certainly didn't want to do that without knowing that.

As far as the sleeve, it does stay on the back of the booster and mounts on the firewall. It doesn't pass through from the inside of the car. The problem with their sleeve is that it is just a bit tight at one point, so I tried putting a couple of slits in the bottom to free up a bit of room. Still tight. Then I thought perhaps the felt insert was too thick. Not the case. In the end I just cleaned up the old sleeve, inserted the new felt, and used that. Got the booster on eventually.

Now, my latest problem. I didn't mount the pedal linkage attachment before installing the booster. I ran the car to get some power going to the booster and tried to push down the rod and sneak the linkage on that way. No luck at first. However, I think that will eventually work. I'm just fried for today. Anyone else have a trick for this?
