wheel backspace

I have original SS1 wheels on my 1970 442 with BFG 225-70-14 but will be changing to Cragar SS with BFG. Car has original front disk.

Any one know the backspace of the original wheels?
And what will work for the Cragars??

I will be going with 7" with 235-60-15 front and 8" 295-60-15 rear. don't want to get into the 2.5 exhaust rear and clear the brakes front.

Any suggestions??

7" wheels 3.5"-4" bs will work and about 4.5" bs for the 8" wheels. If you go 10" get 5.5" bs.

Once again, every 1964-1990 Olds RWD car used about zero OFFSET. How that translates into backspacing depends on the width of the wheel and the thickness of the wheel lip outboard of the bead seating surface. Also, your car came from the factory with 14" wheels and disk brakes.
