Pulled the plug and grabbed this 1970 for 9K. Hated the wheels so much not necessarily my color for rims. Came off 1970 cutlass S. What are they worth? Got a buddy who can powder coat again for cheap just curious if anyones got an idea.

Those are 14" snap-cap wheels, so from an 80s-era car and likely they are 6" wide.

If they are 14x6, I hope you do well but don't get your hopes up for a big payday - to my knowledge they're not in huge demand at this point in time, at least not for the '72 and older model crowd. My '72 was riding on a set of those when I bought it in 2016 and I actually did finally sell the set of 5 locally for $225 on Craigslist to a guy who had a mid-80's Cutlass in the nearly same shade of red as the wheels but it took a while ....

Oldsguy recently bought a set of SS wheels for his 72 Vista for $200. They were missing a trim ring and center cap. I think he paid too much.

Yeah but I got a trim ring for free and an extra set of center caps for cheap here at C.O. I can sell the remaining three for like......a buck!

Most 14" snap-in center SSII wheels sell for little money. Don't pay much attention to ASKING prices on ebay or FB. Green powdercoat is not a feature, as it will be even more work to get that off vs. paint. And if they really are 6" wide, they are worth even less.

Years ago those would be sought after for a low rider with skinny tires but these days it’s the 4WD look to fit 24” wheels with rubber band tires.

They make great grinder stands and garden hose hangers. Other than that, probably scrap, 14" wheels are not sought after.

I would not scrape them . As already stated , could be a low rider thing for someone . Fades and fashion keep changing . Or someone applying for collector plates will need original rims.
Joe P in other threads has pointed out that the center part of the above SS rim is the same on the 14 inch as the 15 inch . Joe has pointed out the outer barrel can be changed . So someone someday might want to use the center part to build a 15 x 8 or 15 x 10 or 15 x what ever ? Store them in a dry place, as it has cost me 70 dollars per rim just to sand blast my SS rims.
