Your 215/65 fronts are 26" in diameter. The 275/60 rears are 28" in diameter. The 295/50s are 26.6" in diameter and only about 3/4" wider than the 275s. Yes they will fit, but won't fill the rear wheel wells as much as the 275s.

Assuming you have at least 8" wide rims. Thats' the minimum recommended for a 296/50

I like the look of this set up !!! is that rear suspension stock? I was thinking of 255/60/15's on the rear of my 69, however if possible i'd like to go a little wider but I don't want any rubbing I had 295's way back when but used air shocks LOL.. I did put new moog cc501 cargo coils in, could I go to 275/60s?

Joe, note that he has 255-60s on the back, not 275-60s.

As stated, be aware that you need a wider tire for 295-50s than you need for 255-60s.

i don’t want to jack up the back with the suspension just want to make sure the stance looks like the brown’69 in the post pic I added.

Ah, I misread that. Sorry. 255/60-15s are 27" tall, so the 295s would be only slightly shorter and about 1.5" wider. Definitely would want wider rims with those.

Joe,
I’m glad you said that because I was worried the 15x8 were too thin to support the tire size. I’m going to pass on the new tire size..thanks for your input.
