ss11 center caps cleaning

I have ss11 center caps i want to clean up real good should i wet sand them they have alot of rips and nicks on them maybe rechromes a better idea?

The bolt-on style are available reproduction and the snap-in style are common enough that there is no point in spending a lot of time cleaning them or a lot of money rechroming them.

damn well i bought 3 for 12 bucks plus shipping and repros go at about 49 each
