ss11 center caps nos oem ??

Ok so I got a set of NOS bolt on center caps what I'm wondering is my Rallye has painted center caps with raised logo on them . My Hurst has one just as the rallye and three that are re pro's with a plastic type center two are flat logo and two are raised spare in non . The Nos ones I got have a raised logo but seems to still be a plastic type logo . My question is what year did they stop painting them and go with the appliqué logo on bolt on center caps.

I have never seen painted logos on late 60s through late 70s SSII/SSIII center caps; all the wheels and center caps I have or have seen in salvage yards over the years had the stick-on logos in the centers. Most were faded or were missing entirely, as if the glue decomposed and they fell out.

I have NOS OEM bolt on caps still in their GM boxes and the logos are plastic. They were bought in 1978. IIRC when the SSII wheels first came out they didn't have trim bezels on the 5 openings - they were painted. Maybe what you have is from that era?
