School me on SSI’s

At least for 1967…
’ve noticed that the original wheels have two different sheens of chrome.
The inner section is dull, while the outer section is chrome.

Did any other brand use the same wheel?
How are these restored?
I assume that no one reproduces these, correct?

Yes, the centers are either nickel or shotpeened and the barrels are chrome plated. Wheel Vintiques used to make wheels in 5x4.75 with chrome centers, but i don't think they're available anymore. Coker bought them, and only shows the Ford 5x4.5 bolt circle last i checked. I could be wrong. The price went through the roof compared to when I bought mine.

I have a set of 4 1970 14x7" SSI's that need restored. They are just taking up space in my garage. If you're interested make me an offer. I'll send pics. I have all of the trim rings and center caps. (I think... lol. I have to go look again)

Thanks Randy. I appreciate the offer. But your wheels are wrong for my car. The 66 and 67 wheels didn’t have trim rings.
Your proximity would’ve been great too!
