I have a 67 442 rag top and am trying to restore it as close as possible to original. Does anyone know if the correct tires for my 14 inch SSI's are redlines or wide ovals and who the original manufacturer was? Thanks for nay info you might have.

The Firestone would be F70-14 Wide Oval Nylon Cord
The Goodyear would be F70-14 Speedway Nylon Cord

Both are reproduced (as fiberglass belted construction), but the redline is not in the same position as originals.

 

Thanks for the info and the link. I don't have a build sheet for my car so I suppose I should go with the standard redlines. It is crystal blue with a white top and had white pin stripes so it might look better with the white wall option though. I'll have to think about it. Thanks again for the come back.
