I know it’s a no no to put European wheels on an American car but has anybody put 18inch or 19inch bmw wheels or both staggered on their 68-72 cutlass?

 

I would think BMW wheels have a metric bolt circle. Also, the backspacing / offset needs to be correct for the wheels and tires to fit in the wheel wells properly.

Depends on whether the wheels are hub-centric or lug-centric. In any case, there are adapter rings for hub-centric wheels. More importantly, do the math. 4.75" is 120.65mm, so not the same. Also, wheel offset is as important as anything else.
