70 15 on front of 70 442? any fitment issues?

Width is fine but those are kind of tall (about an inch larger in diameter that the OEM tires). I've run 255/60-15s on the front, which are a little smaller in diameter but over an inch wider and they would rub occasionally with the wheels turned hard at a bump.

My former 1970 Supreme had 225-70-15s all around when it was bought as a second car back in 1977, and I never had any issues with fitment or rubbing during daily driving to high school, work cruising around on Friday and Saturday nights, etc. Ran that size tire for several years before swapping to 245-60s all around.

Yeah looks like plenty clerance i had 215/70/15 on there which were 26.9 height 225 are 27.4 less than a 1/4-1/2
width 8.7 to 9 imch wide
