I don't think it's a true 442. It seems to have the S emblems on the door panels and the cutlass emblem on the glove box. Either way the poor thing is pretty gross.

He's come down a lot in price. Its been out a few times. I wonder how much he thinks his custom made cracked Strut grille adds to the value?

my assumption is it is a Cutlass as well but possibly worth saving - maybe.

Being from Chicago and this car being sold here I also know

white car = hide bondo

Most likely, one of his buddies. But remember? The wheels do not roll with the car when sold. So I am sure who ever gets it will put some 24's on it. That should match the rest of the maiming.

yea i think your right. the bid history jumps from 2500 to 9k

damn. At second glance you can tell he put a lot of money into this thing. if only he invested it properly he would have a pretty sharp 442 clone.

I hate people doing this stuff to our beloved muscle cars. I mean if you want to take an old land yacht and do somethin with it go ahead, most of those models dont interest me nor do they interest most collectors. But Cutlasses? Skylarks? LeMans? Or god no, 442s, GSs, GTOs...keep...your hands...and DUBs...off

Usually when I see "DUB" on a car, I like to tell them they spelled "dumb" wrong!

I don't think it is a real 442, look at the 442 emblems on the front and they are crooked. Plus he says "new" emblems which I am taking to mean that he removed the Cutlass emblems and then poorly installed the 442 emblems. I wouldn't pay 50 bucks for that car after he ruined the roof like that though, and as stated, the interior makes me want to vomit.

Looks like he's a Chicago Fireman by the license plates.

Rims are not included.
Personally I'm all for customizing your car, but I'm no fan of so much red.
I feel like I'm sitting in a giant used tampon.

The GINORMOUS sunroof was a really STUPID idea with a torque monster 455 motor.
Also, being that it's JUST been rebuilt, God only knows by who, and how well.
I'd ask for a dyno........

If he doesn't want to do a chassis dyno, that should tell you something.

Well now, for some of us B body lovers this is just as bad when done to our beloved land yachts

But I say if this is what the dude wanted...who are we to say the red ostridge skin interior isn't "the bomb" or whatever the young wipper-snappers say these days....kids with their hula-hoops, diet cokes and that crazy rock 'n roll (LOL)

I guess as more and more A bodies get molested, it'll make the B bodies values go up as they remain original
