1968 Only SSII Bezel Paint Color Question
Working on my 1968 cutlass convertible and I have found 3 1968 only SSII wheels with the paint instead of five stainless steel bezels. Still looking for the fourth wheel. I understand Fusick has a good match for the wheel paint but nobody that I could find in the forum talks about the silver that the 1968 correct wheels use for the rim of these five holes. Any suggestion or did I miss it? Also, would the spare tire have used another SSII wheel in 1968 or a regular steel wheel?

The spare would have been an SSII wheel as well, and the layout in the trunk for the tire iron is different for cars with SS wheels than it is for cars with steel wheels.
I know the paint was discussed before but someone here will come up with the correct color.

I used the lighter silver wheel paint for chevy rallyes on mine. I found it easier to paint the light silver first then mask off the 5 holes & paint the argent gray last. You can hand paint them too if you've got a steady hand!
