Here's some tail pipe pics. The car is actually a Florida car and has only been driven in the road salt for 3 winters. All the rust on it was already there when I bought it some 5 years ago. I'm only the third owner, I bought it from a buddy of mine who bought it from the lady who was the original owner. He went through the front end replacing ball joints and bushings, all four shocks and springs and had the transmission rebuilt,,several years ago by now,,but these cars were built to last forever anyway, and this one is totally sound. So,,tell me a little about those 700R4 and 200R4 transmissions you mentioned....

I wanted to include some more pics as you can only upload five at a time. You should visit my profile and check out my photo album entitled My Current Cutlass and the Vista Cruiser

you can use imgur.com to upload several images at once, click "group into album" and you can post one share link. you don't even need to sign up.

your car looks good, I love the wheels. mine is pretty beat up and showing its miles.

my 200R4/700R4 swap is on hold until I can find a transmission. I am at a technical school at the moment, and have the resources to do such a swap, but I need to find something in the BOPC bolt pattern for a good price, since I will have to put a shift kit in it anyways to deal with my torque/horsepower.

right now I am in the parts/information gathering phase, I am not quite at the point to tear it apart and put it all together.

Not sure what this is but I'm guessing it would be best NOT to open it.

Now lest get back to some 73-77 Vista's or Cutlass Cruisers.

love vcruisers

Nice wagons guys. I just got my 67' back from paint. I took out frame n drive train ,put in Art Morrison custom chassis w/ olds rocket 455. All custom suspension, brakes ,exhaust. I took out the raised 4 vista Windows n the roof section where the lug, rack was n. I had a custom one piece glass top that was made to fit the same as what was there. It's like one big moon roof. It's kick *** to look thru. Next is interior, dash, sterio n all the goodies. I was gonna suicide the rear doors but after the custom push button tail gate n the few extra things I did like put gas filler behind the left rear tail light like the 57 chevy. I'll post pics once I'm done with the build.
