1991 20” wheel specs and fit? Long tube Headers?
1991 20” wheel specs and fit? Long tube Headers?
Just bought a 1991 Custom Cruiser and am wondering if anyone has experience or knowledge of fitting 20s on one of these. The car currently has 18s in the front and 20s in the back and is said to rub a little in the rear going uphill. Im not crazy about the wheels and will probably change them out so wanted to try to dial in the fit as much as possible.
Also interested in some headers and exhaust for the Chevy 305 it has if anyone has any first hand knowledge before I go googling around endlessly.

Head on over to Impalassforum.com. The wagon subforum has all the info you could ever need for your B-body. Lucky for you those cars were done to death, and literally every combo has been tried on those cars. Biggest drawback is due to not being as popular anymore they don't have as strong of an aftermarket support, and OE parts (especially interior stuff) is getting pricey.
Excellent driving cars, you're going to love it. Your '91 CC looks real nice. I hope you like attention wherever you go, every time I take my '94 RMW out someone has to comment on it. For comparison, when I'm in my '96 SS nobody looks twice. I remember when nobody wanted a wagon, now they are back in style.

The problem with the wheels may be the offset. Most people do not pay attention to the offset when they buy wheels. The stock offset is +6 mm. If you have wide rims and not the correct offset they will rub. I believe I addressed your question on headers on impalassforum, or gmlongroof forum.
