Parts for wagons

Where do you find parts for the flat top wagons? I have a 1970 and just now learned that they were referred to as this. I can find Vista Cruiser stuff everywhere but am having no luck with this wagon. Thanks.

I moved your post to it's own thread instead of resurrecting one that is 10 years old. Parts suppliers for your car really depends on what part is needed.

What parts do you need, specifically?

Handle (manual) for tailgate. Chrome trim for around windows. Passenger and driver rear-view mirrors. That is what I can think of right now. I know there will be more to be found as I get into it.

The mirrors are the same as any other 70 cutlass (2 door, 4 door, etc.) If you use sport mirrors, you will need to mount them far enough back to clear the vent windows. The window trim you will need to find used. Check eBay and junkyards in the southwest like desert valley. The window crank handle and many other wagon specific parts can be found at: https://www.einstyn.com/onlinestsore/tg-parts-page/ He is a great guy to deal with and deals exclusively in 64-72 a-body wagon parts.

The tailgate parts should be the same on a Vista. Rear quarter window trim is unique to the flattop. From the rear doors forward it's the same as a Cutlass Town Sedan. There were about four times as many Vistas made as flattops.

He does, like the lower tailgate weatherstrip, but his upper window channel weatherstrip is just generic glass run weatherstrip that you can get from Restoration Specialties with notches cut in it so it goes around the corner. Unfortunately this is called a gap and not exactly sealing. In any case, you can buy this stuff by the foot and cut the notches yourself.
