1975 Custom Cruiser
I have realized I will never complete all of my projects , so planning to sell some to finish others. I have a 1975 Custom Cruiser , 3 seat model ,which was owned by my grandfather, who I believe was the 2nd owner. Car appears to be complete except for a piece of trim under back door on pass side. I drove the car to my house when my grandfather died and have used it as a storage unit since. I do not think it has ever been hit - body is straight. I would appreciate guidance as to what the car is worth. I will try to get pictures up in the next couple days. Oh, it has 99,419 miles . Thanks , John

Definitely a cool wagon...does the clamshell still work? For anyone interested in what they look like, this months issue of Hemmings Classic Car(Aug '09) has a '76 CC featured along with a '77 Country Squire and a '77 Town and Country!

I have posted the car for sale in the cars for sale thread. Interior is a mixed bag : seats are all good , I do not see any rips or holes at all. Needs carpet and door panels /arm rests . Body is very straight , I don't see any dents -wood grain needs replacing and paint is dull . The lower clamshell works with the key in the back , but not from the switch on the dash and the rear window does not work with either one (it does go up and down by hand ). It has electric trailer brakes ,a frame mounted trailer hitch, and the load-leveler receiver and all the bars. All glass is good . Needs mirrors on both sides and trim pieces on lower left rear door and fender skirt . Been sitting for =10 years :used Marvel Mystery Oil in cylinders and ran a fuel line from the fuel pump to a gas can and it started right up . I am sure the carb needs work after sitting this long ,but it idles and trans shifts into forward and reverse (can't go far with a gas can on the fender ). Will need new tires .Let me know if I missed anything. There is a large swap meet in Sacramento this weekend and I plan to take the wagon there , but would really like the car to go to someone who will restore it and not part it out. Thanks for your help, John.

Forgot , there are a couple small rust spots on the back of the car under the side windows where they wrap around the back of the car . Also ,the tarp blew off one winter and water collected in the depression under the rear seat, which rusted the frame of the rear seat (but not the floorboard) and the cover over the depression. This is the only rust I can see .
