I am helping guy fixing a couple of electrical items on his 56 Olds 98 and I am having trouble finding a couple of parts.

1. Need the power window relay. I checked Fusick and two other sources and they only stock one relay for both the windows. It is a three connection relay. The one they show is has three connections points and N/O and N/C contacts with the magnetic coil grounded to the case. The one I pulled from the 56 has four connections points and N/O and N/C contacts with the ground isolated from the case. It appears to be original but I cannot find any part numbers on the case

Any one know where I can find the correct relay.

I am also looking for a 6-way seat relay for a 57 Olds seat that is installed in the same car

If your looking for this relay, it looks to be a three connection one. They got one on that big auction site -NOS Delco- and 30 bucks cheaper than Fusick. I would give you the link but don't know how.

 

Yes I have also seen the 3-connection relay. This 56 has a four connection relay and all four connections are in use.

Next question does anyone have the wiring diagram for the power windows it is not in the 1956 Oldsmobile shop manual so it must be a separate bulletin. With the wiring diagram I should be able to figure out a solution.

I have searched the internet for the diagram with no success
