Rubber Seal Breakdown

Has anyone had any problem with aftermarket control arm pivot pin seals that are prematurely cracking after installed?

What make and year, brand or purchase place of parts, and how old are the parts?
Many times the materials are defective, cracking after only a few years. I had some costly rubber bumper fillers do that. I also have rubber parts from 50 years ago with no cracks at all. Just depends on the quality of material.

Early to mid 50's Oldsmobile. I guess as new as a supplier would send off the shelf. NOS stuff seems to hold up better than the newer stuff.
