Hey Jerry, looky what I got!

Put up a post over on the H.A.M.B. board looking for a dash and got an answer within a couple days! Actually, I got 4 answers!! The second guy that contacted me had the complete dash in decent shape so I grabbed it. He sent it Greyhound, which I've never dealt with before and was a little nervous about, but it made it just fine. I now know where there are at least 1 more of them, if anybody else here needs one. Unfortunately, that one is kinda rotted on the bottom side. Makes no sense to me, though. What did the guy do, store it in mud or something? How does a dashboard get rotted? Anyway, I am a very happy camper right now!

That is what I was thinking, I have been on the hunt for a good looking dash to hang in my den and that is slick as is.

Yup, it would make nice wall art, but I think it will look much better in my car!

Not sure it needs fixing. I'm also converting to 12 volt, but I guess I can run one of those little voltage converters on it.

You can run 6 volt clocks on 12 volts without changes, if it's a Borg, or Westclock that uses a set of points and a momentary solenoid to wind a spring. Some Chrysler clocks use a small motor, which would need a converter. It's most likely a Borg clock however. Great clocks.

Good to know, thanks! As far as I know, it's a Borg.

I was contacted by another guy with one in decent shape. The chrome isn't the best though. If you are interested in it let me know and I will hook you guys up.
