I didn't know Oldsmobile was marketed to "the masses" in the beginning. I thought they were play things of the wealthy.

 

I noticed two things while watching, first is that there were people involved with the development and production of the curved dash whose names showed up later in automobile history making contributions in other companies and other ways, second is that the clip of the curved dash climbing the steps shows that the little engine apparently had quite a bit of "grunt" to it.
