Generator Pulley for 54 Olds Super 88

I need a pulley for the stock generator. I see several Chevy generator pulleys form the 1954 model year advertised on EBAY. The part number for the Chevy model is Part # 3703606. Does anyone know if this is the same pulley for my Olds? If not, do you know what the correct part number would be, or where I could get one. I would like to assume that this is a par used across all lines of GM cars in 1954 but am not sure.

Thanks, Dave

dfrede, do you have a generator repair shop in your area? I'm sure they could fix you up. I don't think that pulley is anything special and other year cars should fit as long as it's off a Delco Remy generator....Tedd

If you are still looking for this I might be able to help you out... I'll look when I get home but I'm pretty sure I've got about 3 of those generators that I won't be using.

The Olds parts book says that the pulley & fan are one, and the part number is 1924689 for 1951(2nd type on 45 amp. generator) through 1954, and 1955 without air conditioning (all 8 cyl. cars). The group number is 2.274. While Chevrolet uses the same group number for theirs, I cannot find any listing of that part number in their parts book for any of their automobiles or trucks from 1935 to 1961.
The number 3703606 is shown in the Chevy parts book as being for the 1953-55 commercial (truck). It is a 6 volt generator, pulley together with the fan, 2-7/8" diameter, and a single 3/8" wide groove.
