Not to be flippant, but after 70+ years there could be any number of issues. If you're considering purchase, you cannot reasonably expect it to compare to a "modern" car.
They were very good cars for their era. Popular, stylish and dependable. And they didn't have all this electronic mess that IMO reduces reliability.
