Best grease for knee joints and tie rod ends 1950 98

I want to do a full lubrication. Thinking cornhead grease for steering gear box but what should I use for front knee suspension and tie rod end and what else needs attention. 1950 98

Any general purpose grease is fine for tie rods. If your knee action reference is the shocks, then motor cycle fork oil I believe is what others use.

Thanks. I saw this. Seems like you don’t even need grease gun.

No grease gun needed. just remove the fill cap from the steering box, cut the bottle top and squeeze FOR A LONG TIME!!! This stuff is thick so it's hard to get out of the bottle. I ended up cutting a vent hole in my bottle to help. now I've got to store it on its side!

Ha. Good to know. I started cleaning off 70 years of grim from the

box. I found a pic showing the filler plug and though from Buick think it is the same. Do you agree?
