Rear inner tie rod 91 98 Elite.

Looking for rear inner tie-rod for 91 98 Elite. GM # 26015420 discontinued. I believe rod firs either left or right side. My left side met its demise from a tow hook from a wrecker hook.

The tow truck driver owes you a new part. They are going to have to get it from a salvage yard if it's not available at the auto parts store. Fusick and Kanter provide specialty Oldsmobile parts but not for newer corporate GM cars.

The 91-96 Oldsmobile 98s aren't too rare in salvage yards yet. There was one locally in OKC not too long ago. Use this search engine if your having difficulty.

A tow truck dropped my 71 98 and crushed the exhaust pipes. I feel your pain. Good luck.

I thought you meant the rear control arm. The rear tie rod is available on RockAuto.

The part number that is obsolete is an assembly. The inner and outer tie rods are available individually through rockauto and you reuse the other parts.

I'd love to but the actual rod is bent severely.

Can you post a picture of your bent up assy? I'm not that familiar with the later model cars.

It's in the blowup I posted earlier the rod that the end attaches to.

I think he meant YOUR tie rod, not a copy of an illustration from somewhere of one.
