Air Ride for a 53?

I'd like to lower my 53, does anyone have any info on static drops, or better still Air Ride?
Is there an Air Ride kit out there, has anyone on here already done this?

Thanks.

I don't think there is an kit for that year but you can email kevin from www.airasissted.com his email is prez@airasissted.com. very knowledgable guy, he can help you get the best setup for your ride at a reasonable price. He helped me with my 57 Cameo and my 67 Impala.

Nigel, someone on CO owns a '55 4 door sedan Dark Navy and white' I thinks he is from Switzerland, that he showed pictures of that he had lowered extensively.maybe someone will remember more and let us know. Larry

Well, the guy at Airassisted has told me that "its a job high on skill and knowledge" and that there is no kit as such for a 53, but that is not to say it can't be done.

Take a look at this thread. I don't know how different a 53 is to a 55 but here is a lowered and bagged 55. Just about as low as I would want.....Tedd https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...-our-55-a.html

That 55 is perfect at that ride height...the small pic at the bottom is definitely a 53 and has given me renewed inspiration to keep pursuing this. Thanks guys.
