I had a '55 furd in '73 and the 292's and 312s had same upper oiling problems.
I was told the kits were common at parts stores back in the day, a coil of copper tubing and brass compression fittings, you would tap in at the oil filter gauge sending unit fitting then run lines to the top of the valve covers. You just just let the oil squirt through holes with fittings in two spots on each cover on to the rocker arms.
You can buy all the stuff at the hardware store if you know what it's supposed to look like, that's what I did.

You really need to fix the problem and not slap a bandaid on it. The oiling system worked when new and can be made to work again. Just takes a little work and money.
Blu, those were very common on Y-block fords with some miles on them.
