57 Olds-Steering Coupling

Hello All;
I have noticed some extra slop in my steering and have found the rag joint to be broken. It looks like the flexible coupling has split. My question is do I need to drop the steering gear assembly off to swap this out or will it come apart and allow it to be changed easily? My 57 has power steering and I see that Fusicik carry the couplings.

Thanks in advance
Mark

Follow up;
I did end up dropping the steering gear box out so I could check pinion adjustment and also check for leaks. Also a good time to clean it up and give a quick paint job. I also loosened off the steering column so I could pull it forward enough to replace the coupling.
What a difference having that replaced. It took 90% of the slop out of the steering so now I can drive at speed with one hand. Note, the steering box is a heavy little item that when loose is hard to control while laying on your back. An extra set of hands would be best...
