I want to overhaul the steering gear.

Fusick has a Power steering gear box rebuilding kit, but ist seems that these kits do not contain any bearings.

As far as I can see there are needle bearings in the stearing gear box?

Do you know which bearings I need to buy and where to get them?

Call Chip at Power Steering Services in Springfield, MO. He is the best there is at rebuilding Olds power steering units (he did my 54). I don't know if he sells parts but he can probably tell you where to find them. He is a very nice guy.

 

If you can get the bearing number most suppliers of bearings can cross match to something common. bearings are rather universal..... Tedd
