56 olds

i just bought a 1956 olds 88 holiday and the powersteering box is bad does anyone have one i heard only a 1956 will fit let me know i have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get it rebuilt.

If you don't want to wait to get it rebuilt by an online vendor you could always get one off of a parts car. Use one of these specialty salvage yards.

If you buy one off a parts car there is a good chance it will not be any better than what you have.

Yes, this box is 1956 only.
Getting it rebuilt is by far the best option. It IS your STEERING, after all.
There are a number of quality rebuilders out there. Lares comes to mind;
